Most of the internal windows are oddly large, between one session and the next.

I don't recall changing fonts or anything so I don't know why this happened. (Nor was I aware you could change the sizes of internal fonts..)

Windows affected:

CTRL F Find
Add/Edit windows for Alias, Trigger, Timer etc

They're just strangely large.. instead of the smaller text/window size I'm used to they're twice as big as usual.

This isn't exactly a huge problem, just kind of jarring to hit CTRL F and have a huge window pop up

Can you take a screenshot please? Images are not permitted to be uploaded to this site, however you can use something like Imgur to post an image.

I have never heard of this issue before, so it must be something local to your configuration. Maybe you have enabled extra large fonts or something like that.

Your forum setup is INCREDIBLY strange.

Looked it up, and found there was a new version, updated, problem persists.

As I hope you can see, the Edit Window is much larger and has huge fonts compared to the Alias window

Also:

Template:bug

Please provide a summary of your world configuration:

  • Either use the scripting Immediate window (Ctrl+I) to execute: Debug ("summary")

    or

  • Install the Summary plugin (see "Summary" feature) and type "summary"

Then copy the resulting information from the output window, and paste into a Forum message.

You need version 4.55 onwards of MUSHclient to do this.

You seem to have either a really old version (I note you haven't stated what version you had before, or have now) or have fiddled with the resource DLL file names.

In any case the pictures you posted don't seem to really back up the claim that the Find window is "oddly large". What you posted seems to be similar to what I got when I tried it:

It's a modest sized dialog box in a fairly large window.

I tried editing my previous comment to include that information, but I had already posted once and it wouldn't let me edit.. very weird

Windows 10, was version 4.84, is now 4.94

I assure you, the window used to be MUCH smaller.

Proportional to the alias window

New problem:

Hitting enter no longer attempts to connect..

Far more annoying than the box and font thing.

Judging by this:

You have Windows 8, version 6.2.

See OSVERSIONINFO structure

It is strange that you say you have Windows 10, are you running a virtual machine?

Something is seriously wrong. There are many people using MUSHclient and not being able to type 6 onwards is something I have never heard of.

I suggest you try the latest released version (5.05):

http://www.gammon.com.au/forum/?id=13918

Or try the pre-release version of 5.06:

http://www.gammon.com.au/forum/?id=13903

Odd fonts, edit windows not working, not being able to type, that all sounds like you are running out of memory.

When you say "doesn't work" you mean it won't let you, or the changes don't appear?
