I've searched around for a bit, but haven't found exactly what I am looking for.

Is there any plug-in or scripting alternative which allows for live spell check? This is a lifesaver in Firefox, and other programs - I'm not sure how easily it could be implemented, but I find it far less obtrusive than a pop-up window appearing every time I want to spell check or remembering control-J. :)
