The modes on this page operate over all three channels (red, green and blue) rather than individual pixels.
Red is extracted from the blend image, the other color channels are taken from the base image.

Green is extracted from the blend image, the other color channels are taken from the base image.

Blue is extracted from the blend image, the other color channels are taken from the base image.

Red and green are extracted from the blend image, blue is taken from the base image.

Green and blue are extracted from the blend image, red is taken from the base image.

Red and blue are extracted from the blend image, green is taken from the base image.
