Hi guys,

I tryed the search but didnt find anything, I just have 2 questions: How can i get smaug (win32) to (Auto) show the vnum (and flags) of rooms items and mobs as i come across them in game. also how do i get it to write a log file, the folder log only has the empty file. Its running on win xp

To show the vnum (in your prompt) you must enable the config by typing "Config +vnum". Room flags aren't shown, unless you rstat, or are using SWR. I think... As for logs, I'm not sure why they aren't writing to files. It must be the windows version doing that. I'm sure someone else will figure out why.

Thanks Zeno, as for the log not being written to a file can any one help? I'm using the Smaug for windows server dowloaded from this site (gammon) thanks peeps :)

EDITED:
I found out that to get the log file to be written you have to install smaug as a servise.
