Best forum I could find for the subject, so my apologies if it is the wrong place.

Long story short, I was hoping there was someone with SMAUG experience who wouldn't mind giving pointers etc on a more direct medium (AIM, MSN, IRC) from time to time. All I have been able to locate on the subject of SMAUG 'support' are forums which is just a tier too 'indirect' to be useful in many cases.

My questions would mostly be focused on the orientation in the SMAUG codebase, and rarely involve actual code as my C skills are decent (altho unused in like 10 years and thus rusty). In essence, I'm looking for the kind of help that most of you could answer in a heartbeat that would take me 20+ minutes of digging in source files to figure out, if at all.

Again: I have no intentions of spamming oodles of code at people. That's what a forum would be better for, and I won't hesitate to use a forum for that purpose assuming I can't figure something out myself.

P.S.: I am generally not someone to ask for personal 'outside the forums' support and generally try to ask people to use the forum. It's just the wrong medium in this case. :)
