| If:
A) Multiple world windows are open
B) World windows are maximized
C) World window in background is paused
D) Output is at the bottom of the buffer (ie. no lines waiting to be displayed)
Then: the pause setting is ignored and new output is displayed as though the window was NOT paused.
I've seen this behavior on v4.19 and v4.37 on Vista, and v4.19 on Wine.

| Fixed in version 4.39.
It is caused by the auto-pause flag in the output configuration. As a work-around you could clear that. |

| Auto-pause in the output config? Checking or clearing this box (it was cleared before) does not seem to change the behavior... At any rate, if it's fixed in the next version, I don't suppose it's such a huge deal now.

| | Well perhaps I was wrong about that. Initially it seemed so. However I finally worked out that when the window was maximized, and the world window was in the background, it seemed to keep getting "resize" messages from Windows, with the result that it chose to do, effectively, a Ctrl+End, which cleared the paused condition. |
