I didn't change a thing, and whenever I attempt to save an area it says 'Skill List not loaded, can't save the area'.
And the skill list IS loaded, however it IS loaded and it closes it everytime I try saving hence I can't save.
Is this a bug?

Check that both commands and skills are loaded, then you should be able to save the area.

I keep getting the same problem, and all tables are loaded.

I just tried to save an area - provided skills.dat is loaded it saved OK. Make sure under the Skills menu that the commands "Close Skills" and "Edit Skills" are available (not greyed out) - this confirms they are loaded.
