Where exactly do players Train their skills. I would assume this would be with a guildmaster of some sort, but where exactly?

"The only Silly Question is a unanswered Question"

Yes, Every Class should have a Guild that the the player
may go to to train. But... Not all Muds that rund the Dawn
Codebase are the same so the layout of the areas and locations of the guilds differ from mud to mud. You might start off with asking a staff member of the Mud you are currently playing on. There might be a Help file, Newbie book, or map that contains the the location of the guild you seek. You can also use the newbie channel to see if nsupport can help you. Or you could always Post a public note asking for help. I hope that this has been some help.
If none of the above works, tell me the mud and class that you are trying to find the Guild on and I will see if I can help you futher.

"The only silly question is an unASKED question" Loki ya goofy. That said.... Actually, that isn't such an uncommon question on DoT muds since most of them dont follow the older design conventions with their main cities and where chars train. You'd probly be amazed how many ppl Ive seen ask how to make a mob a trainer.... healers are even more fun :) From the mortal side, yes there should be several guilds scattered across the world to train in, if not let me know and Ill come educate the staff a bit on how things are supposed to be done :) From the mortal side, if this was a design motivated question, to make a mob a trainer, give it the trainer act flag. I'd also give it the gain act flag so chars can pick up new skills there instead of having to find another place to pick up new skills and complicating their lives. Course if yer truly evil like I am you'll have skills that can only be learned from a single special mob and nowhere else but those are a special case and are handled with mob programs anyway :)
