Did a search and only found items from 6-7 years ago.. But I was wondering if there's any way to incorporate an adjustable horizontal split-screen (within the main window) for browsing back through the scrollback buffer?

Opening another window/copy was suggested in one of those old posts, but it's not really a 'solution' I'm looking for..

Thanks in advance for any suggestions or help.
