The bug is the problem. Your area is never made into a file, I'm not sure why. This isn't FUSS? If it is, I'd suggest to use vassign.

This is why I love Nick's Area Editor! No fuss, no muss.

Do you see your assigned vnums when you type score? I've heard some versions of SMAUG don't actually save the assigned vnums to your pfile. This has to be done first before you can save and load.

Yeah, when I type sc, it shows my vnums.
And, I'll look into FUSS.
