No core file on segfault

Hi i have just changed servers and i no longer get a core file when the mud crashes, which is painfull as im in heavy testing at the moment (Also i have never gotten a core locally on mandrake 10.1 either).

So my question is, what steps can i take to try and get cores back or what things i can check or change.

Ignore the previous post i have fixed the localhost issue, but need to email the host to get them to make changes to allow for core files.
