when i connected the first few times (creating a new character each time) i started in the Entrance to the newbie academy. But now whenever i make a new character it always starts in a pitch black room instead of the academy entrance. Anyone know how to fix this?

Thats what it say when i connect now. It used to say welcome to the entrance hall or something and have a mob standing there.
It automatically promotes you to level two if in your file:
system/sysdata.dat you have:
Waitforauth 0
Make it:
Waitforauth 1
