Need some help

I compiled Smaug. and it says the server is up and running but when i try log on via 127.0.0.1 it gets in but it just sits there It doesnt run the program. Am I doing something wrong?

What do you mean "it doesn't run the program"? The server should be running already. What do you mean "it gets in"? Do you see a message of some sort?
