Problem with "redit" command.

I run the server using the cmd command smaug /run, from a computer running Windows 7. I enter with my IMM char, PlagueGiver, and goto 0. Then I edit the desc of The Void with redit desc. I shutdown the the MUD with shutdown mud now, and run it again, the same way. I'm at The Void, but my desc change didn't save.

I know there's the AreaEditor, I have it, but it's way more efficient to edit ingame, and I'm used to editing ingame.

There is more to it than that, as you need to save the area. Check out:

I think you have to "aassign" the area and then "savearea" after making the changes. There might be other things as well, I haven't done it for quite a while.
