| | Hi, I am new to mushclient. I was hoping someone could help me set up a sound trigger. I used to have one on another client I used. That would beep everytime someone sent me a tell. I have tried to replicate this with Mushclient but have been unsuccessful. I am sure its rather easy but I haven't been able to figure it out. I am new to all of this. Thanks, Karin | | Top |

| Go into World Congfiguration -> Appearance -> Triggers
Click on "Add".
The trigger itself is something that will match on the tell, with "*" as wildcards. For example:
Trigger: * tells you *
Further down the dialog there is a "sound" section. Browse for the sound you want.
Then click OK to save the trigger, and "close" to close the configuration screen.
That should work. If not, check that what arrives is exactly what you have set the trigger up for. For instance, if you received "Boris tells you, hello" then you need to put the comma into the trigger, like this:
Trigger: * tells you, *
