| I've looked around to see if I could figure out how to resolve this but haven't come across anything specific to my issue. I've had my current PC for several years now and MUSHClient would run just fine. Recently, however, it crashes every time I try to open it. The first workaround I found was I could right click from where it's pinned and open a specific world I had saved, but that's also ran it's course.
The only way I can actually get the client to open is having to go back and re-install it. Recently I went ahead and uninstalled it, plus cleared the folder, and then re-installed to see if a fresh copy would do any different but it hasn't. I'm not the smartest cookie in the jar when it comes to PC things but if there's any idea on what to do to fix this, I'd appreciate it. | Top |

Please help us by advising the version of MUSHclient you are using. Use the Help menu -> About MUSHclient.

One thing that occasionally makes it do strange things if there is something odd on the Clipboard. Try making sure there is just text there. For example, use Notepad to make an empty file, type "hello" and copy that to the Clipboard. See if that helps.
Also try installing it into Documents rather than Program Files. |
