| Hi Nick!
I recently found your Forum while searching for MUD's stuff.
Its possible to download a recent version of it? The only
one i found dates from 2003 (v1.1).
I love the look and feel.

| I have kept updating the forum since that early release. Unfortunately it is in a rather unfriendly form for a new user. Since I only use it in one place there is no installer, and there are heaps of tables which need to be created to make it work. Some need to be populated with stuff.
I tried to set up the forum for another of my internal sites a while back and spent a day or so mucking around getting it all to work smoothly. I wouldn't want to wish that on anyone. :)
Also the moving of threads from one place to another is rather clunky. And the use of CSS is fairly rudimentary as it was written before CSS was really a thing.
My other concern is that releasing the modern source would make it easier for hackers to work out any weaknesses. Already they exploited some earlier weaknesses to get a list of everyone's email address. (That has been fixed).
So, sorry, I'll have to decline to provide more up-to-date source.
There must be some modern, supported, forum software that you can use that uses CSS properly, supports multiple languages, and so on. |

| Totally fair and understandable! It does not bother me
making things work cos i work in the IT field.
Perhaps PHPBB can make the trick but i really want
something less bloated and minimalist.
