Hi Nick, I know you prefer messages on the forum however my request is rather specific to my situation and needs some detailed explaining if you don't mind giving me some direction. I have created an account and logged in but I still don't seem to be able to find the button that lets me send you an email.

If you don't mind I would really appreciate being able to contact you directly, and if you then feel like it is something that would be worth having on the forum I can repost my question there but I seriously doubt it as this is not a specific question, more just need some guidance based on some specific constraints.

There is no email link because I used to have one, and now I get about 100 spam emails a day. Apparently I've won stuff, the spammers are videoing me with my non-existent web camera, they want to improve my web page, it seems my bank wants to verify my account details all the time (this is a bank that I don't have an account with), various parcels are waiting to be delivered once I pay a handling fee ... and so on.

I don't like doing personal problem solving, because this forum is supposed to be somewhere that people can come to, to find out how a particular problem was solved in the past.

If you outline the issue we can perhaps discuss it here, and I may contact you by email (to your registered account here) if it seems very private.

Your post above is fairly non-specific about the issue. Is it MUSHclient? MUD servers? Electronics? Programming?
