| The Green Leaf is a MUD server developed from scratch, written in C.
The website is:
http://www.the-green-leaf.de/thegreenleaf.html
To play, use telnet or any MUD client and connect to
the-green-leaf.de 2000
The next version should even work on smartphones, right now it doesnt look very well, because some pages are formatted for 80x24 and hardly fit on a smartphones screen.
The game setting is medieval, but it is not strictly role playing orientated, role playing is allowed, of course.
The basic idea is to keep it as much simple as possible:
Create a char
Log on
Go exploring and have fun
and not bother with lots of races, classes, homelands whatever.
Right now the world consists of a quite big city with some houses, surrounding meadows and a rudamental fortress.
There are monsters of course, you can fight and train your fighting skills, there are NPC's wandering across the world, giving out informations or just saying hello, shopkeepers running their shops where you can buy and sell stuff.
Some server run events are implemented, a Last Man Standing contest, a Dungeon Raid where you have to win against invaded critters, a Lottery, a Leprechaun to hunt and win a prize and hidden treasures you can find with a wiggle stick.
A player ranking page exists, where you can compete with your skills with other players, have a look at the website.
So, log in and have a look ;)
I am interested in comments, bug reports, suggestions.
You can report bugs/comments/suggestion with a single line using the #report command, for longer reports use the forum (see website) or post here.
So, hopefully i can see some of you ppl here in game and maybe even talk to you, i live in Europe, which means timezone GMT+1 and i am usually logged in every evening.
So, log in and help me to improve the game :)
Cya,
