Just posted on Magnum's site at http://www.MagnumsWorld.com/Muds/ is a little program I wrote called Phantom.

The program works like a proxy, letting you point mushclient at your local computer (127.0.0.1) and either the default port of 1066 or one you choose in Phantom. Once you 'connect', it will then take anything mushclient sends and echo it back as though it where coming from a remote system. I figured this could be helpful for testing triggers and things (especially with regular expressions) before trying them on a real mud, where accidentally using something like [Hi there!] as a regular expression could get you in real trouble with the administrators. ;)

For those who don't know about regular expressions, [Hi there!] would actually mean match on all instances of the letters H, i, t, h, e, r, a space or !. Forgetting to put \ infront of [ and ] is very bad, but easy mistake. lol
