I am a little confused. I am starting my own mud. Hopefully with the SmaugFUSS 1.9 as a base. I have knowledge in C++, but I keep hearing this SMAUG and ROM being thrown around. Is that a customized language that was made specifically for MUD creation? Or is that the type of game style? Also I was wondering what language that SmaugFUSS was written in, because I am hoping as my knowledge increases on how to edit adn create my MUD based on the base FUSS, I am eventually going to want to change certain aspects of the game itself.. Maybe add more races, and even change the battle style completely. Can anyone please help me with explaining it to me? Thanks!
