Dear Nick,

After creating two immortal characters for a friend and myself, and assgning ourselves suitable vnums, all the OLC building functions were working great. However, a problem arose everytime I tried to SAVEAREA, it said
BUG: fold_area (fopen)
and nothing was saved onto disk, so naturally nothing was there to load next time I booted the server.

The solution to this problem was found after reading the source. What was missing was the directory

C:\SMAUG\BUILDING

All I had to do was create an empty directory with this name and all of a sudden, SAVEAREA was working, and even NEWZONES showed the prototype areas, just like on a real server!

This is the same type of bug which was previoiusly reported for saving player files. The latest version of the smaug server I downloaded fixed this for the player files, but not for the building files.

You have a good product here, Nick. I'm using your server as my own personal testbed to debug mob and object programs before installing them on the live server.

Keep up the good work
