i am sorry to disturb again and again on the same subject but i am stuck to the turkish char prob....nick told about one byte and two byte char.i am not an elite programmer.so is there anyone who can tell me what to do step by step?i cant do it bymyself as it is impossible for me.but if someone explains what to do i may do it(step by step pls..)
also in dawn of time how do we give people job?i mean for example someone requested a job, what should i do?i have put some rom areas to dawn and they worked.so this means mobprogs in rom can be taken as examples?and in dot are there other mob progs or does it use the same with rom?what are the commands for level 101?how do we set quest i mean there are some olc commands but just to name the quest and 2 or more things to do.is there a place i can get the dot areas so that i can look at how quests work?i saw their help files but as there are no areas i couldnt look.in the new realese also can there be aquestor which gives people quest points for the quests(for example killing a mob) they finish and after collecting some quest points to buy quest items?when will the dot new realese will come out and will i be able to work it on windows as the one before(win32bin.zip)?is there a place on the net to learn about mud programming or c++ coding?

First of all, i am not a crack coder myself eighter, and i don't think i can help you much with changing the code so that you can use the turkish characters, but for getting help using DoT try the command hlist, it gives the list of all the helpfiles in the system, then do a hlist <helpfile> replacing <helpfile> with a helpfile name, given by the hlist command, that what gave me alot of the help that i have gotten on using DoT, though some of the things there aren't helpfiles about, for those things try and ask questions here, one question at the time, it gives much better results than asking 10 questions atta time. :)

Also for learning how to code in c++, if you don't know how to code in c, i would get a book about the basis in c and then get a book about c++ and read up on that, you will quickly find out that if you use a few hours a day, you will quickly learn enough to understand the code that runs DoT, and soon enough your will starts cranking out code like crazy. *grins*

That was my few cents.
