Old Trigger and Alias File compatibility

I have some old files that worked on a mud that has recently come back online after years of inactivity.

I have run into the problem that the mush client i am using 4.14 does not recognize the file type/ format of the older files... says something about XML.... is there any way for me to recover the information contained in these old files so that I can use them again??

It explains there that you can download an interim version, which will read the old file format and write out the new one.
