Pausing and saving timer

Is there a way to pause and save a timer in a plugin so that it remains after MUSH shutdown?

Suppose I could save seconds in another variable on plugin close, but just wondering if there's another option.

No there is no easy way. I would use GetTimerInfo (13) - number of seconds until timer will fire next. Saving that into a variable on plugin close, would mean I could reconstruct that timer next time it loaded.
