SWR making myself admin

How do I make myself admin? I set myself to level 65 after saving but none of the commands work. also I tried to login as the admin thats already set but the pass would not work. I changed to to my password and it was not admin. help?

Also if this is in the wrong spot where do I post it?

And why not use SWR FUSS?

changed the level to 65

FUSS should come with an already set Immortal.

If you're going to edit your file, you can't be online.

Right I'm not online while editing and I even restart the server. The FUSS did come with a player named Admin. But I couldent connect untill I edited that file and changed the password. When I did this I could connect with him but there were no admin commands working.

Connecting to the Admin should be fine. You can't edit the password on the file because it's encrypted.

The reason I couldent connect at first with the admin char is that the password in the file looked like this

password Af23lFjk.~

So I created a new char and saved that one. copy'd the encrypted password for that char and pasted it into the admin char's file. when I did that the new password worked. But still he doesn't have admin.

The new encrypted password looked more or less like this.

Yes, that in the character file is a encrypted password. That's normal. Reset the admin file character and try again.

ok I used the backup I made of the admin file and I am having the same problem as I did in the beggining. It kicks me off the server.

What exactly do you mean kicked off?

What are you doing? Trying to log on the character? What does it say? Can you post a log of the process of trying to log on?

I am trying to make my char an admin. or imm.

I can get logged on.
After I log in I cant make him admin.

No, you're suppose to log on as the Admin char, not make one. One should already be set.

ok thanks for your help I downloaded a new one that works. A bit differently but working.
