How do you amend a port?

How? Sorry for the ignorance.

If you're talking about your own post, you have a little link next to the date that says [edit].

To clarify this - you can post without logging on, which I am doing right now. However as you are not really identifying yourself to the system (except for the one-off post) you do not see the edit icon.

However if you log on - see top RH corner - then you can edit your own posts.

Yeah, I wasn't logged in, I was using my username and password when I was making a new post. Thanks alot for the help.
