How to turn off <--TICK--->

subject is self explanatory. I looked in help timers and got nowhere.

It’s not really self-explanatory. What MUD are you playing?

The client does not, by default, display <–TICK–> every few seconds. It would be incredibly annoying if it did. Either:

• The server is sending that, and you need to make a trigger to suppress it; or

• You have a timer that displays that, possibly inside a plugin.

We need to establish whether this is a client-side, or server-side message you are seeing. If you mouse-over the line in question a “hover message” should appear which tells you what sort of message it is.
