| Hello
Question please. When working with Area Editor, what
is the fastest way to set in the mob limits ? For example:
if you have a dozen mobs of the same vnum, what is
the fastest or easiest way of setting in the reset limit
to 12 or whatever? I have been switching to using Orb
to do these resets, because i couldnt quite figure out
how to do them effectively and easily in Area Editor.
I would like to learn how to use Area Editor exclusively
since I registered it, and would sure appreciate some
help on how to make these resets easier and faster.
Thank you in advance

| If I understand the question correctly, I would do this ...
- Go to the room where you want the mob put
- Click on "Add mob"
- Choose the appropriate one and click OK
- The mob will now appear in the "References" list
- Double-click on it in the "References" list, or highlight it and click on "Go to"
- Doing that takes you to the appropriate reset
- Change the limit (2nd box) to the number you want
That might sound long-winded when looked at here, but it only takes a couple of seconds. |
