When I create a MOB with AreaEditor, and I leave most settings at 0 (tohitac0, AC, etc.) does the MOB's tohitac0, AC, saving throws, all get adjusted by level, race, class, etc. or should I adjust them at creation time? I've noticed when I Mstat online, some of these attributes are at default and don't change. I would like an idea of which attributes autoadjust and which do not.

Another thing, is it possible to add NPCraces without altering the code? Can I do it Online, like with commands?

Thank you.

Not sure about the stats, but I'm pretty sure that to add races, you need to recompile the code.

You may need to recompile SMAUG to add NPC races but I think the part of the Area Editor configuration you want is:

#RACE
Human
Elf
Dwarf
Halfling
Pixie
Vampire
... and so on ...

Yes, Thanks, I realised that when I looked at AE Config file. It even works. :)

I also noticed I can make a Bow and Arrow and they werk in the game, but, the Type must be Crossbow, and I still get Bad Item errors in the game. Can I just change Crossbow to Missileweapon in AE config file? Or is this a bug that's fixed when SMAUG is recomplied?
