| Afternoon,
After lots of searching for plugins and/or scripting help to get my inventory into a floating window, I stumbled on: http://www.gammon.com.au/forum/bbshowpost.php?id=8936&page=1
Given that I play Aardworlf, this is exactly what I'm looking for, so I downloaded it. After installing it and the other required plugins I got it to load, but can't seem to make it do anything.
I'm curious what I'm missing?
I couldn't post to the original thread, so opted to create something new.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,

| That thread is about 13 years old, and the message format from Aardwolf may have changed.
The thread mentions that I tested on a "testing" server and not a live server. I'm not sure if the required information was ever implemented on the live server. If it was, the tags supplied might be different by now from what I was expecting.
You could ask in the technical chat on Aardwolf, perhaps if you find something out you could report it here. |

| Nick,
Thanks for the reply. I was worried the age of the code would probably mean it wouldn't work. I will ask in game and see if anyone got it (or similar) implemented. And yes, I'll report back what I learn.
In all honesty, I don't even need all the bells and whistles this had (though I'd love all of it). I just want to get a window with inventory. If I was better at reverse engineering code, I'd try to extract those bits to make something like that. Could be an April project for me. :)
Thanks again, and I'll keep you posted. | top |
