I've been wondering why the 'top' link doesn't actually go all the way to the top; it goes just below the little buttons on the top. Unfortunately, when I press 'top', I'm generally trying to get to the forum button up there. :-) Is there a reason for this or is it just how things happened?

I know what you mean. I think the reason is that the very first line is already generated by the shared "top of page" routine before the forum part even gets to it, so the highest part of the page it can get to is the start of the forum part.

I normally just use the Home key to get to the top.

Nick: Ah, ok, that makes sense. Thanks!

Zeno: But... that would require moving my left hand aaaalllll the way from 'asdf' to 'home'... or my right aaaalllll the way from the mouse to 'home'... :-)
At home I have a Firefox extension where I can use mouse gestures or toolbar buttons to move up and down very quickly, but at work we're not allowed to install extensions, so...
