| How about adding more numbers to the Activity Bar?

It looks like there's enough room for up to 30 numbers, or maybe 25.
And I'm on a 640X480 display here. Higher resolutions could have more. It wouldn't be that difficult.

| There is an Activity List (Shift+Ctrl+L) which shows an unlimited number of open worlds. You can resize and move that to wherever you want.
Also see here for a plugin that does exactly what you asked for.
Also here for names rather than numbers.

I got it to go horizontally, and start at the top left. But... I can't get it to show my character's name when I hover over it. What can I do to fix this? Let me know. | | Top |

The name comes from the name you put in the "Connecting" configuration screen for your world (second section from the top). |
