I would like to assist folks that are new to MUSH games but I don't have the knowledge on how to do it. I use MushClient myself, and was wondering if there are voice settings on the client? If so, is there a tutorial on how to set it up or is that something that has to be taken care of outside of the client itself?

There are no voice settings built into MUSHclient. There are a few plugin-based options floating around for speaking MUSHclient output, though. MUSHclient comes with a SAPI plugin pre-installed in the plugins folder, but SAPI speech is not ideal because it isn't as customizable as JAWS, NVDA, etc. and the basic SAPI voices don't sound as good. Many people use mushReader from https://www.allinaccess.com/mc/ which interfaces with several Windows screen readers. I made my own similar plugin for Aardwolf that is loaded by default in my Aardwolf non-visual bundles, but it requires LuaJIT and I don't have instructions for extricating the other necessary files if you wanted to get it working on another game. There are also various sound pack plugins, but those are definitely going to be game-specific.
