| Hello Gammon, I have spent the last few hours on your tutorial on the 74HC4051 multiplexer / demultiplexer and for some cases I found it very useful: it made me understand entirely how does this multiplexer work and how to wire it. But I might have missed something.
After wiring everything as you said, the project doesn't work. The Serial outputs a list of 8 numbers as it should, but they all are around 800-900 without any reference to the sensors. I tried grounding B & C as you suggest, and wiring only two sensors, but nothing changes.
I am using your exact code, taken from here:

And I made a Fritzing scheme of my wiring but it seems I can't post it here.
